 3013 is one of 70 short films compiled into an anthology feature called Future Reloaded. Each segment was made by a different director who was participating in the 2013 Venice International Film Festival. Solondz's entry, which was produce by Laura Terruso and regular Solondz collaborator Mike S. Ryan, is a three minute look at film schools 1000 years from now. The entire film shows a digital interface and sardonic, Chinese text being read by an unseen narrator taking you through a futuristic syllabus, translated in simultaneous French and English subtitles. |
